Zions Bank Announces $30,000 'Dollars for Scholars' Sweepstakes for Students

Zions Bank has launched the "Dollars for Scholars Student Banking Sweepstakes," offering a total of $30,000 in cash prizes to students between the ages of 15 and 25. The promotional event is designed to help 12 lucky students pay for expenses such as tuition, housing, technology, or even to start an emergency fund.
The $30,000 prize pool will be distributed among 12 winners in the following tiers:
Students can enter the sweepstakes by opening eligible Zions Bank products or services between August 3 and September 18. Each eligible account opened during this promotional period counts as a separate entry into the drawing. Qualifying products include:
Accounts can be opened online at the Zions Bank website or by visiting a local branch. The bank notes that no purchase is necessary to enter and that an alternative method of entry is available in the official rules.
Participation is open directly to young adults aged 18 to 25. For minors aged 15 to 17, parents or legal guardians who are 18 or older may open the accounts and enter on their behalf.
The winning entries will be chosen via a random selection process by 11:59 pm MST on Friday, October 2, 2026. Winners, or their legal guardians, will be notified by phone or email.
