New Film ‘Will Ski 4 Food’ Documents the Birth of Freestyle Skiing in Ogden
28 March 2026

In the 1970s, a group of young skiers from Ogden, Utah, broke every rule in the book. They flipped, spun, and reimagined what skiing could be, helping to spark the birth of freestyle skiing. Their story is now being told in a new film project titled Will Ski 4 Food.

The documentary is described as a story about more than just skiing; it focuses on rebellion, passion, and the pursuit of dreams when the world deems them impossible. Will Ski 4 Food follows the athletes who risked everything to create a movement, as well as the filmmaker who captured the footage before its historical significance was fully realized.

The creators of the film are currently working to protect these legacies and ensure this piece of history remains alive. They state that the project is built on the idea that "sometimes the biggest leaps in life start with a jump."

How to Support the Project
The production team is seeking community support to help bring this story to life. Supporters are encouraged to follow the project’s progress and share the story through the following social media links:
