Weber County Announces Primary Election

The 2026 Primary Election will be held on Tuesday, June 23, 2026. Ballots will be mailed to eligible voters according to their party affiliation beginning June 2, 2026. Voters must be of legal voting age, citizens of the United States, and reside in the precinct in which they are registered.
The party affiliation deadline was March 31, 2026. Some parties allow voters of any affiliation to participate in their primary, while others require voters to be registered members of that party. Unaffiliated voters may affiliate through Election Day to participate in a primary election. Voters can verify their party affiliation, registration status, and view a sample ballot at vote.utah.gov or weberelections.gov.
Voter registrations must be received by the county clerk by 5:00 p.m. on Friday, June 12, 2026. However, voters may also register in person at an early voting location or at a polling location on Election Day.
In-person voting will be held at the Weber Center located at 2380 Washington Blvd. in Ogden June 16, 17, 18 and 19 from noon to 6:00 p.m. and on Election Day at the Weber Center and Ogden Valley Branch Library located at 131 S 7400 E. in Huntsville on Tuesday, June 23, from 7:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.
Ballot drop boxes are conveniently located at every city office in Weber County, every county library, the Weber Center parking lot, and on the campus of Weber State University. Secure drop boxes are open 24 hours a day and close promptly at 8:00 p.m. on Election Day.
A public demonstration was held on May 19 to test the voting system that will be used for the Primary Election. A post-election audit of the Primary Election will be held on Tuesday, June 30 at 12:15 p.m. Both events will take place in the Elections Office in the basement of the Weber Center, 2380 Washington Blvd. in Ogden.
