To the Editor and Ogden Valley Residents
By Dan Binkerd - 29 August 2026
Building a new city from the ground up takes collaboration, patience, and a shared vision for our community's future. Unfortunately, what we continue to see in some valley social media postings is none of those things.
It is time for residents to view these relentless online attacks for what they truly are: the lingering bitterness of last year’s election results. Tearing down every step the mayor and new city council takes—and most recently attacking the OVN itself—does not serve the future of Ogden Valley.
We need voices that are committed to moving us forward together, not perpetual grievance over the election outcome. I urge our community to filter the endless social media noise through that lens, tune out the sour grapes, and support the hard work of building our new city.
Let’s move forward and build the new city as a community, working together.
