Several Thoughts Concerning the Draining of Pineview

Dear Editor,
I have several thoughts concerning the draining of Pineview Dam [Reservoir.]
#1 While the water level is so low, why not dredge many of the spots that are available and increase the water capacity by many thousands of gallons. This is a look into the future needs for Weber County.
#2 Have Weber County place a large dumpster on Cemetery Point and have volunteers pick up the trash that has been left on the beaches there. I will furnish trash bags for this project.
I’m 87 years old so my manual labor days are over but it really should be done.
#3 When coming up the canyon to turn left at the road for Eden on the spillway road, at the turning spot have the Utah Highway people put reflectors on the guard rail.
The people at the post office know my address if you want those garbage bags.
And let me be the first to offer you all – A very Merry Christmas.
