Reporting Stormwater Concerns in Ogden Valley

As Ogden Valley navigates the transition of its MS4 Stormwater permit from the County to the City, state officials are providing clear guidance for residents on how to report environmental concerns.

The State currently recommends that any stormwater concerns be reported directly to the Environmental Incident Hotline. Residents who observe issues should contact the hotline at 801-536-4123.

When placing a call, individuals should be prepared to provide specific details, including:

• The exact location of the incident.
• A description of what was observed.
• When the occurrence took place.

State guidelines emphasize that construction sites carry a legal obligation to manage their environmental impact. All active sites are required to maintain rigorous stormwater controls and are mandated to address any issues immediately should they arise.
