The Ogden Valley Planning Commission has rescheduled its first public hearing on proposed land‑use updates, moving the meeting from March 24 to March 31, 2026, at 5:00 p.m. at Huntsville Town Hall. The change was required due to errors in the original notice and corrected postcards are now being mailed to residents. The earlier start time—5 p.m. instead of 6 p.m.—is intended to allow additional time for public comment.

The office is at 167 S 7500 E, Huntsville (on the Huntsville Town Campus in the maintenance building north of the Town Hall). Office hours are Monday and Wednesday, 9 AM – 1 PM and Thursday, 1-5 PM.
Formal Objections From Affected Landowners
Landowners whose property is subject to a proposed zoning map amendment, as defined in Utah Code §10‑9a‑608(2)(a), may file a written, signed objection within 10 days after the March 31 hearing.

What Happens After the Hearing
Following the public hearing, the Planning Commission will review all comments, finalize its recommendations, and forward them to the City Council. The Commission’s role is advisory; the City Council has final authority to accept, modify, or reject the proposals. Future City Council meeting dates will be posted once scheduled.
Two Meetings on March 31
The Planning Commission will hold two meetings on March 31—a regular meeting at 3:00 p.m. and the official public hearing at 5:00 p.m. While both are open to the public, only the 5 p.m. meeting will address the proposed land‑use changes and take public comment.
