How to Comment
Public input directly shapes the draft code. Commissioners review all comments, identify recurring themes, and make revisions before forwarding any chapter to the City Council. Past comments have been especially helpful—well‑reasoned, specific, and influential in refining several sections.
Written comments: Email [email protected] before the meeting. Written comments are shared with commissioners in advance so they can review concerns and suggestions ahead of the hearing.
Speak at the hearing: Residents may comment in person or via Zoom. The Zoom link is included in the posted agenda on the city website (ogdenvalley.gov) and the Utah Public Notice Website (Utah.gov/pmn). While on the public notice site, take a few moments to sign up for meeting notices for both Ogden Valley City Council and Ogden Valley Planning Commission.
Additional Work (Time Permitting)
If time allows after the hearing, the Commission may continue work sessions on additional chapters, including master planned developments, architectural and landscaping standards, short‑term rentals, pathways, drinking water protections, accessory dwellings, and agri‑tourism.
