Pineview Reservoir Clean-Up — National Public Lands Day
12 September 2026
The U.S. Forest Service’s Ogden Ranger District is hosting a volunteer clean-up at Pineview Reservoir on Saturday, September 26, from 9:00 a.m. to noon, in celebration of National Public Lands Day.
With reservoir levels drawn down, areas of shoreline that are normally underwater are now accessible, creating a unique opportunity to remove trash and debris. Volunteers will meet at the Pelican Beach parking lot, where they can check in, pick up cleanup gear and receive directions before spreading out to planned cleanup areas around the reservoir.
The Forest Service will provide trash grabbers, magnets, buckets and garbage bags. Volunteers should bring their own work gloves and wear sturdy footwear, long pants, long sleeves and a sun hat.
Stay for 30 minutes or the full three hours. All ages are welcome, so bring your family, friends and neighbors and lend Pineview a hand!
When: Saturday, September 26, 2026 | 9:00 a.m.– noon
Meet: Pelican Beach Parking Lot, Pineview Reservoir, 816 N. 7100 E., Huntsville
Hosted by: U.S. Forest Service, Ogden Ranger District, Uinta-Wasatch-Cache National Forest
