Ogden Valley City is recruiting for a Public Works Manager (full-time or contract) to oversee 100+ miles of roads, 20 miles of trails, bridges, storm sewer systems, and a $2M+ annual budget.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage daily operations and Capital Improvements Plan; includes occasional field work
- Oversee contracts and technical standards
- Emergency response (24-hour on-call)
- Represent City with regional and state agencies
- Bachelor's degree in construction management/engineering (or equivalent)
- 7+ years public works experience
- Valid Utah Driver's License; ability to obtain CDL
- Willing to obtain required certifications
- Strong leadership, communication, and public relations skills
