Ogden Valley City Seeks Planning Commission Applicants
By Ogden Valley City Communications Team - 13 September 2026
Ogden Valley City has an open seat on its Planning Commission, and residents interested in shaping the future of our community are encouraged to apply.
The Planning Commission plays a central role in the city's growth and development, reviewing land use applications, advising on zoning matters, and helping guide the ordinances that define how Ogden Valley builds and preserves its character. As a newly incorporated city, this is a formative time to serve — commission members have a real opportunity to help set precedent on issues ranging from residential development standards to protection of our valley's natural landscape.
We're looking for residents who bring good judgment, a willingness to learn the details of land use policy, and a commitment to public service. No specific professional background is required — what matters most is a genuine interest in the community's long-term wellbeing and the time to prepare for and attend regular meetings.
Interested residents should email the city at [email protected], and an application will be provided upon request. Applications will be accepted through September 30, 2026.
We encourage anyone considering applying to reach out to the City with questions before submitting. Ogden Valley City is built by the people who choose to show up for it — this is your invitation to do just that.
