Ogden Pioneer Days Announces Full Schedule for 2026 Celebration
27 June 2026 Nearly monthlong celebration will bring rodeo, live music, parades and western traditions to Ogden during America’s 250th anniversary year. Ogden Pioneer Days will return June 27 through July 24, 2026, bringing nearly a month of rodeo action, western heritage, live entertainment and community traditions to Ogden. The 2026 celebration will begin June 27 with the Utah Cowboy Hall of Fame induction ceremony at Ogden Union Station and culminate July 24 with the Ogden Pioneer Days Parade and final performance of the Ogden Pioneer Days PRCA Rodeo at Spencer Fox Eccles Pioneer Stadium. “Ogden Pioneer Days represents generations of tradition, service and community pride,” said Steve Handy, Ogden Pioneer Days Foundation chairperson. “From the rodeo arena to the parade route and the many events held throughout the community, this celebration gives residents and visitors an opportunity to come together and experience the western spirit that has helped shape Ogden and Utah.” This year’s celebration will also recognize and support America’s 250th anniversary, providing a fitting opportunity to celebrate the people, traditions and shared history that connect the Ogden community to the broader American story. A Celebration That Reaches Beyond the Rodeo Arena While the nationally recognized Ogden Pioneer Days Rodeo remains the centerpiece of the celebration, the full schedule includes cultural events, family activities, community programs and patriotic traditions throughout Ogden. Six Nights of Rodeo and Entertainment The ticketed stadium schedule begins July 18 with Bulls, Broncs & Bands, an evening combining bull riding, bronc riding and live music featuring Chancey Williams. Five nights of PRCA rodeo competition will follow July 20-24 at Spencer Fox Eccles Pioneer Stadium. Each performance features its own community theme:
The monthlong celebration will conclude July 24 with a brand new “Rodeo Run” put on by the Goal Foundation, the traditional Ogden Pioneer Days Parade along Washington Boulevard, the final rodeo performance, the Miss Rodeo Utah coronation and a closing drone show. “Our celebration has always been about more than a single event,” Handy said. “It honors the western heritage of our community while creating new memories for families, rodeo fans and visitors from across Utah and beyond.
