Crews Make Progress on 394-Acre Middle Fork Fire North of Huntsville

The Middle Fork fire is now 100% contained. The fire has been mapped at 393.9 acres by the National Interagency Fire Center (NIFC). Their perimeter is visible on the Watch Duty map under the Active Fire Perimeters map layer.

Monitoring and patrol operations will continue for the next five days.

Although the fire is now 100% contained, firefighters will remain in the area conducting daily monitoring and patrols to identify and extinguish any remaining hot spots and ensure the fire remains secure.
