League of Women Voters to Host Voter Registration Drive Across Ogden Valley
23 May 2026
With critical local and national elections approaching, the League of Women Voters (LWV) of Weber County is making it easier than ever for Ogden Valley residents to ensure their voices are heard. The nonpartisan organization has announced a series of upcoming community voter registration events designed to help residents register for the first time, update their current information, or verify their status.
Whether you are a long-time resident who has recently moved to a new home, a newcomer to the Valley, or a young adult preparing to vote for the very first time, volunteers will be on hand at several familiar local hubs to assist you.
Residents can stop by any of the following scheduled registration events:
Know the Qualifications To register to vote in Utah, you must be a United States citizen, a resident of Utah for at least 30 days prior to the election, and at least 18 years old on or before Election Day.
Organizers emphasize that young adults do not have to wait until their birthday to take action. If you will turn 18 on or before the upcoming General Election Day on November 3, you can legally pre-register right now at any of these events.
Moved Recently? Update Your Status Voter registration is not a one-time task if your circumstances have changed. If you are already registered but have recently moved to a new address within the Valley, your polling location or mail-in ballot details may be affected. Neighbors in this situation are encouraged to stop by a LWV table to quickly fill out a new form.
For those unable to attend the in-person drives, registration and address updates can also be completed securely online at www.vote.utah.gov (requires a valid Utah driver's license or state ID) or by visiting the Weber County Elections Office website https://www.weberelections.gov/ Another source is VOTE411.org.
Don't miss the opportunity to be election-ready. Stop by, meet your neighbors, and ensure your registration is fully up to date before the deadlines arrive.
