​Feb. 1: Ceramics & Italian Sgraffito Carvings, 1-3 PM with Instructor Lori Thomas. Discover the meditative art of sgraffito. This traditional Italian technique of scratching through surface layers of clay reveals contrasting colors and intricate designs. This is a beginner friendly workshop for adults and provides a hands-on introduction to ceramic surface decoration. Feb. 1 – Feb. 22: Farmers Market Ogden is excited to welcome back our indoor farmers market! Held annually at Ogden’s Historic Union Station, the Winter Market brings together more than 40 local farmers, food producers, and artisans to create a cozy shopping experience for all to enjoy. Feb. 3: Book Discussion at the Ogden Valley Branch Library - 7:00 p.m. Limited free copies of the book will be available for those who register for the discussion. This month’s title: The Art of a Lie by Laura Shepherd-Robinson

Feb. 4: STEAM Discovery: Counting at the Ogden Valley Branch Library – 6:00 p.m. Start STEAM exploration early with stories, experiments, and activities to learn about counting. Recommended for ages 3-7.

Feb. 5: Teen Scene - Dungeons and Dragons at the Ogden Valley Branch Library - 6:00–8:00 p.m. All skill levels are invited to play this classic tabletop role-playing game.

Feb. 5: Open Arts & Music Jam, 6:30-9PM. This FREE event is open to artists and musicians of all skill levels, as we encourage the exploration and sharing of art and music talents. Feb. 7: Galentine’s Day Jewelry Workshop, 3-5PM. Grab your gal pals and join us for some metal magic. Instructor Madi McQueen teaches metal jewelry techniques with sterling silver and gold fill metals during this hands-on workshop, including cutting, hammering, stamping and shaping metal into charms, pendants, earrings, cuffs or rings. Feb. 10: Lino-Cut Art at the Ogden Valley Branch Library - 6:30 p.m. Discover the art of linocut printmaking in this hands-on class. Learn carving and printing techniques to create unique designs—perfect for cards, gifts, or personal keepsakes. All materials will be provided. Registration is required.

Feb. 11: It All Comes Crashing Down: The Decommissioning of the International Space Station with NASA Ambassador Jen Jones at the Ogden Valley Branch Library - 6:30 p.m. Learn about the International Space Station and its upcoming decommission with NASA Ambassador Jen Jones!

Feb. 12: Graphic Novel Workshop at the Ogden Valley Branch Library - 6:00 p.m. Learn the basics of crafting a graphic novel, manga, or comic book, and practice techniques behind the art.

Feb. 12: District 5 Council Member Don Hickman will host District 5 Town Hall at 6:00 -7:00 PM Ogden Valley Branch Library Auditorium. Council Member Hickman will present an update from City Council and field questions and comments from District 5 residents.  These informal Town Halls are intended to be a two-way conversation with direct access to Council Member Hickman by the public. Feb. 12: Watercolor Date Night at the Ogden Nature Center from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. This Valentine's season, enjoy a painting class led by local artist Susan Snyder. After a short icebreaker activity, Susan will lead you step-by-step through a watercolor painting project.

Feb. 14: Happy Valentine’s Day

Feb. 14: Winter Concert Series with Austin Weyand, 7PM. Austin Weyand is a fingerstyle guitarist, with a technique similar to classical guitar, displaying arrangements with melody, harmony and various musical styles, using both nylon and metal string guitars.
