Weber County Announces Openings on RAMP Board

Weber County is now accepting applications from community members who would be interested in serving on the RAMP (Recreation, Arts, Museums, and Parks) Board. This is a volunteer committee, with the responsibility of reviewing grant applications, meeting with the applicants to learn about the projects and meeting for several full days to select the best qualified projects to receive RAMP funding. There are currently three positions open.
If interested, applications can be found online at RAMP, or by emailing Shelly Halacy at [email protected]. Completed applications are due August 14, 2026, and should be returned to the RAMP Director, Shelly Halacy in the Weber County Commission office. Interviews may be requested prior to board member appointments on September 8, 2026. Board members are asked to serve a three-year term and allowed to serve two three-year terms.

- Dance, theatre and music activities and performances
- Literary outreach programs
- Publicly owned pickleball, basketball, and skating facilities
