Volunteers Wanted: Help Shape Ogden Valley's Future

Ogden Valley City is looking for a few good volunteers to help us get two important efforts off the ground.
Dark Sky Committee
If you love our night skies as much as the rest of us do, we want to hear from you. We're forming a Dark Sky Advisory Committee to help the City Council advance Ogden Valley as a dark sky community. Our starry nights aren't just beautiful for those of us who live here — they're part of what draws visitors to the valley too.
Committee volunteers will help launch an awareness and communication campaign and build and help implement an action plan for making dark skies a real priority here. If you're passionate about protecting what makes our evening skies so spectacular, this is your chance to help lead that effort.
Communications & Social Media
As a brand-new city, we've got a lot to share with our residents — and we'd rather do it in quick, useful, and even fun posts that supplement our traditional media communications (newspaper articles, newsletters, and website).
Facebook, Instagram, and YouTube will be the starting place. We already develop loads of content that is just waiting to be put out there in a short social media post. We're looking for a volunteer (or a few) to help create and share news in an effective way on a few social media outlets.
