Community Foundation of Ogden Valley’s fifth annual Farm Festival will be held at Historic Sunnyfield Farm from 4:30 to 7:30 p.m. Thursday, August 27th. This family-friendly event will feature the music of The Proper Way and there will be food and drinks available for purchase from Lucky Slice, Los Churros del Norte and Bad Bevs. Mark your calendars and plan to spend the evening with your friends and neighbors to celebrate life in our beautiful Valley.
The festival will also feature a variety of activities and games for the whole family sponsored by the 17 nonprofits supported by the Community Foundation of Ogden Valley. These volunteer organizations will share how their missions enrich the lives of Valley residents and visitors. Learn how you can enjoy the music, arts, recreation and educational opportunities these organizations provide year-round.
Local artists and artisanal food purveyors will have booths at the festival as well. The festival offers a unique opportunity to browse their wares and purchase locally produced breads, vegetables as well as handmade jewelry, wood and metal art, and home décor. Meander through the vendor section of Festival while enjoying the music and idyllic setting of the Farm. If you would like to have a booth at the festival to highlight your art or handmade food, please visit CFOV.net to complete a vendor application. The deadline for applications is August 1st.
The highlight of the night will be the Opportunity Drawing, where the lucky winner will walk away with a “Best of Ogden Valley” prize package including gift certificates to local ski resorts, restaurants, recreation venues and other local businesses. Tickets are $20 for one ticket or $50 for three. Tickets will go on sale on August 1st at CFOV.net and will also be available for sale on the evening of the Farm Festival.
While the Farm Festival is a free community event to celebrate local talent, businesses, and especially the amazing nonprofit organizations that are at work in the valley, it is also a fundraiser for the Community Foundation. We are asking everyone to please consider making a donation of some kind—either by purchasing a ticket(s) for the drawing or donating directly to CFOV at CFOV.net.
CFOV is an all-volunteer, 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization (NPO) working to raise awareness and funds for 17 nonprofit organizations that focus on making Ogden Valley a great place to live! The CFOV is supported by amazing Valley sponsors, raising funds through donations from businesses and individuals. Proceeds from the Farm Festival Opportunity Drawing will all go to CFOV’s Match Fund. In 2025, CFOV was able to match up to $5,000 for each NPO that raised this amount, or more. The CFOV has set a fundraising goal of $100,000 for 2026 and needs the support of the community to reach it.
