Planning Commission Hearing Scheduled for April 14, 2026
11 April 2026
The Ogden Valley Planning Commission will hold a public hearing on April 14, 2026, at 5:00 p.m. to review a series of proposed updates to local zoning codes. The meeting will take place in the Council Chambers at 7474 East 200 South in Huntsville, with both in person and Zoom participation available.
Currently, the commission is seeking public input on proposed revisions to several sections of the land use code, including the HR zoning district (proposed rename of the former FR3 zoning district), Chapter 104-1 (General), Chapter 101-1 (Creation, Implementation, Amended and Effect), Chapter 102 (Administration), Chapter 108-1 (Design Review), and Chapter 110 (Signs).
Residents can access detailed information and support documents on the ogdenvalley.gov website. Materials are posted under News and Events → Public Notices, within the agenda for the April 14 meeting. Attachments appear at the bottom of the agenda.
Community members may submit written comments ahead of the hearing by emailing [email protected]. According to city officials, earlier rounds of public feedback were “thoughtful and specific,” prompting commissioners to discuss concerns in detail and make adjustments before forwarding recommendations to the City Council.
Those wishing to participate remotely can find the Zoom link on the April 14 agenda posted under Public Notices at ogdenvalley.gov/public-meeting/planning-commission-public-hearing-april-14-2026.
